We went camping with Tim's sisters and parents this last weekend This year we rented a cabin to stay in instead of a tent. The cabin had an air conditioner and double bed, and 2 bunks.
It was fun camping... the kids are all so independant that it is VERY relaxing and so EASY with the
cabin ....it was so perfect for what we needed! The air conditioner drowned out all the kids and camping around us so we totally slept in in the morning ;)
No injuries or accidents of any kind and no rain... Except for what we raced home on Sunday.
As we were driving home, we watched giant storm cloud follow us all the way from Illinois. Than the severe weather bulletin on the radio...just rain though... smiles....
We played baseball, soccer basketball...and the kids did lots of swimming,
biking and creek wading ;) and andrew fished alot...he bought a net there so he
could scoop up critters ;) Now we're home and just enjoying summer vacation! No school till September!

sadly, no airsoft... we did have them...but thought the other campers may have frowned upon that and we wanted to be glad in it, not sad...

how did you all fit in the cabin?
Well, there was a bunk bed and a double bed..so we COULD have fit, but we have a little tent that the boys slept in!!!! : ) yay
